gradSERU Results Are Now Available

The Graduate School is delighted to announce that the results of the Spring 2021 gradSERU (graduate student experience in the research university) survey are now available to all students, faculty, and staff at reports.umd.edu.  

Students should select “student” as user type, click on “proceed to student reports,” select "gradSERU survey”, and log in to the Tableau server.  Faculty and staff should select “faculty/staff, log in to the Tableau server, and look for “gradSERU” in the menu. Note that a VPN must be used if you are off campus.  

Use the table of contents or the tabs at the top of the report to navigate through the survey items, which include questions on admission, financial support, advising, educational, research, and teaching experience, campus climate, post-completion plans, obstacles to completion, health and well-being, and overall satisfaction.  Investigate how your program compares to others in your college and the campus, and use this to stimulate conversations with fellow students, faculty, and staff about how to improve the student experience in your program.  In a few weeks we will add the ability to compare the latest results with the results of the Spring 2019 survey.
