Tax Preparation Assistance Program (TPAP) for Graduate Students

The Graduate School offers in-person assistance on completing state and federal income tax returns for graduate students through the Tax Preparation Assistance Program. This program is a collaboration between the Graduate School, the Robert H. Smith School of Business and Terp Tax. Terp Tax is a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) chapter run by undergraduate and graduate students from the Robert H. Smith Business School with Sam Handwerger, CPA as their faculty leader from the Robert H. Smith School of Business.

TPAP does not offer individual tax advice. Students are responsible for obtaining their own professional tax advice, if necessary.
