2. Document Review Office Hours (1-4 PM, Sep 8 & 15, virtual)

To help create accountability and some deadlines for you to share your drafts, come to one of the scheduled times to get feedback on your documents. You can also ask specific questions to help contextualize your search or application materials. Sign-up links will be provided in early September to those who have attended the Academic Job Market Boot Camp (item #1).

3. Teaching Philosophy Workshop (12-1 PM, Friday, Sep 8, virtual)

Anjula Batra from TLTC will lead an additional workshop on teaching philosophy to help address common challenges and questions one may encounter in writing teaching statements.

4. Faculty Panel (12-1 PM, Friday, Sep 15, virtual)

The Graduate School and TLTC will organize a panel of UMD faculty members who have recently been on search committees to share their experiences and perspectives to help you learn more about the hiring process, and what could help you stand more as a candidate.
