Doctoral Career Pathways Conference 2022: Getting From Here to Career
This year's conference will increase your knowledge, curiosity and excitement about how to get from here, wherever you are in your doctoral training, to your career beyond Maryland. Instead of a one day event, this year's conference will take place throughout the first week of May.
- Each day includes an in-person lunchtime workshop and a virtual panel featuring UMD doctoral alumni. Box lunches will be served.
- The workshops will increase your knowledge, skills and confidence to land an internship or full-time job.
- Hearing the career stories of our alumni panelists will open up your mind to job possibilities you had not considered.
- You will learn how doctoral alumni landed their positions - affirming that you too will be able to successfully navigate from your doctoral program to a job you love.
- Panelists will share valuable advice about how to conduct an effective job search and build professional relationships.
- Panels and workshops include time to ask questions and network with attendees.

The Teaching and Learning Transformation Center and the Graduate School Writing Center are here to help. We’re planning a retreat to help you prepare all these documents; join us for this session to learn more about the retreat or to find out how to access the resources even if you can’t attend. |
