Health Insurance

Some fellows are eligible for a health insurance reimbursement. Find out if you are eligible here.

If you are a Wylie Fellow, you cannot hold a GAship while on the fellowship. This means that if you have health insurance through your GAship, you will need to find a new insurance plan. More details can be found here.

Tax Information

Fellowship and award recipients must pay tax on fellowship stipends. Learn more about these taxes here.

Tuition Awards

The Graduate School provides a tuition award to graduate fellowship recipients who are paid from University and Dean’s Fellowship funds, Graduate School full-time fellowship funds, prestigious external fellowship funds, or by written agreement with the Graduate School. Learn more about whether you are eligible.

Society of Fellows

Students who hold the Flagship Fellowship, President’s Fellowship, McNair Fellowship, GEM Fellowship, or SREB Doctoral Scholar Award are members of the Society of Fellows. Learn more about the Society of Fellows and the events that are offered.

Annual Fellowship & Award Celebration

Each year in May, the Graduate School hosts the Annual Fellowship and Award Celebration, which celebrates students and faculty who held a Graduate School fellowship or award during the past academic year. Fellows and awardees will receive an invitation in the spring.
