Building on the feedback received from our Graduate Student Open Forums held in the fall, the Graduate School and several campus offices will co-host three topic-focused Open Forums this spring semester. We are committed to continue our work to invest in our graduate students, and an essential component of that is hearing directly from you.
Graduate student housing is a major concern for some of our students. This forum will provide an update on a new graduate housing project that will double UMD's graduate housing capacity in fall 2026, allow discussion about current graduate housing, and elicit feedback on a possible living-learning community idea for graduate students.
