Self-advocacy–the ability to speak up for yourself to create positive change–is an important skill for everyone. This virtual workshop offers graduate students strategies for advocating for themselves in their communications with faculty and offers tools for addressing and resolving conflicts with peers and mentors. Participants will learn principles of self-advocacy and conflict resolution, and will then have the opportunity to practice these skills in a low-stakes, supportive environment.
