Edith Shields

Edith Shields leads The Graduate School Workday Implementation Team, overseeing the design, testing, and implementation of business processes in partnership with the Elevate team. She ensures that the administrative, policy, and workflow needs of graduate programs are represented throughout the Workday transition, collaborating with DGSs, CGSs, and campus stakeholders to support successful implementation.

Edith holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of the Philippines and a Master of Information Management from the University of Maryland, College Park. Since 2014, she has served in various roles at the University of Maryland, including positions at the Universities at Shady Grove and the Office of the University Registrar. Before entering higher education, she built her career in corporate sales and marketing.
