Helen Mamo

Helen Mamo earned her Bachelor’s in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland. Alongside her freelance work, she serves as the Communications Coordinator at the Graduate School. Helen has a background in the media industry, with experience at a newspaper in North Carolina, a magazine in Baltimore, and a radio station in DC.

At the Graduate School, she handles website updates and maintenance, coordinates all social media accounts, and creates video and graphic content for social platforms. Additionally, she manages email communications for graduate faculty, departments and students, including the bi-weekly Graduate Pathways newsletter, DGS/CGS Graduate Updates Newsletter, and the TerpEngage Admissions Update newsletter.
