Kristyn Lue, PhD
As the Program Manager for Career and Professional Development, Kristyn oversees the development and implementation of initiatives that prepare graduate students and postdoctoral scholars for a range of diverse career pathways. These initiatives include activities in the Discovery House and other graduate housing communities, doctoral and postdoctoral career coaching programs, research and assessment on career-related data and trends, and alumni engagement.
Kristyn is originally from the West Coast, where she earned her B.A. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley. She is also a two-time GradTerp Alum, having earned her M.A. in Higher Education and her Ph.D. in Mathematics Education. Prior to joining The Graduate School, she worked as a postdoctoral research associate with Dr. Julie Posselt at the University of Southern California, where she also served as the project specialist for the Equity in Graduate Education Consortium and the project coordinator for the Inclusive Graduate Education Network.
