About the Survey

The survey is completely confidential. Survey of Earned Doctorate information is used by a number of government agencies to assess the state of doctoral education in the U.S., and also to inform their decisions concerning funding of U.S. graduate institutions. For more information on the survey and privacy policy, please see the brochure and privacy notice.

The survey is required of all graduating doctoral students and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
