Doctoral Careers Advisory Board
Established the summer of 2020, the Doctoral Careers Advisory Board (DCAB) provides strategic advice and feedback on supporting diverse doctoral career paths at the University of Maryland. Comprised of doctoral and postdoctoral alumni, current doctoral students and postdocs, board members commit to two years of service.
The board meets quarterly during the academic year with administrators from the Doctoral Careers, Postdoctoral and External Relations Offices. The board welcomes feedback, insights, and ideas on how to best support the diverse career aspirations of doctoral students and postdocs at UMD. In addition, anyone interested in becoming a member for 2023 - 2025, can email below.
