Mentoring Workshops for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows (Virtual)
Jenn Aumiller, MEd, Director of GPILS/OPS Career and Professional Development and the Director of the Office of Postdoctoral Scholars at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and Blessing Enekwe, PhD, Director of the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs at the University of Maryland College Park are offering a four-part mini-series, "Mentoring Workshops for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows," for postdocs and graduate students in the biomedical and population health sciences.
This series of discussions is part of the Entering Mentoring Series which was developed at the University of Wisconsin, Madison by Pfund, House, Asquith, Spencer, Silet, and Sorkness. The content of each session is designed to address the key concerns and challenges identified by research mentors that train graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
These sessions would be beneficial to any student and postdoctoral fellow to better understand the mentoring relationship and also to prepare for becoming a mentor in the future. All sessions will take place on Tuesday's from 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Zoom.
