The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs in The Graduate School at the University of Maryland is excited to host the Third USM Postdoctoral Research Symposium as one of our activities during National Postdoctoral Appreciation Month.
The symposium will feature a traditional Poster Presentation session and a Flash Talk session, providing postdocs with opportunities to showcase their research, develop their presentation skills, and network with peers, faculty, and staff.
The symposium will also include workshops focused on science advocacy, science communication, and wellness.
Symposium Goals
- Recognize and showcase the cutting-edge research conducted by postdocs at the University of Maryland.
- Develop presentation skills through the Flash Talk session.
- Foster networking and interaction among postdocs and with faculty and staff from across campus.
