The session will focus on outline the different types of imposter syndromes causes and factors which worsen imposter syndrome. This session is ideal for graduate students who struggle with imposter syndrome which is characterized by a pattern where individuals doubt their accomplishments and/or have a persistent fear of being exposed as a fraud, despite evidence of their competence such as being admitted into graduate school. The first session will help prepare graduate student for the second session. Wellness Course Series This first in-person session will help graduate students recognize and understand imposter syndrome by outlining its types, causes, and triggers, while providing insights and tools to prepare for a follow-up session focused on managing these challenges.
