Support #GradTerps on Giving Day 2020!

Giving Day is on Wednesday, March 4th. This campus-wide annual Giving Day campaign offers a time for family, friends, and the UMD community to support graduate students who, like you, are looking for ways to support their education. Donations help to fund Graduate School programming that benefits students as they advance toward their degree and beyond.

You can share the link to the Graduate School Giving Day page at go.umd.edu/GradGivingDay2020, where visitors can choose one of our funds to make a gift. If you use social media, you can amplify the message to your networks by using the #GivingDayUMD hashtag and tagging us @UMDGradSchool. We're on LinkedIn too! We’ll be actively posting information about this through Giving Day, and likes and shares are a big help!.

We would like to acknowledge our appreciation for our #GradTerps alumni who have made matching gifts for Giving Day 2020! Alumnus Dr. Ashok Kulkarni (PhD, '76) and his wife Ranjana, have generously offered to match gifts made to the McNair Scholarship Fund and the Kulkarni Summer Fellowship, up to $5,000 for each fund. Dr. John ('81 PhD) and Mrs. Kendra ('82 MS and '76 BS) Wells will match gifts made to the Graduate School Diversity Fund, up to $500. Dr. Judith Touchton ('78 PhD) will match gifts made to the Fellowship Fund, up to $100.

Giving Day is an opportunity to support graduate education - and small contributions can have a huge impact. Visit https://go.umd.edu/GradGivingDay2020 to support! Thank you!
