Program Coordinator, Graduate Student Career & Professional Development

As Program Coordinator for Graduate Student Career & Professional Development, Pedro contributes to The Graduate School's efforts to bring career exploration and professional development directly into graduate housing. He supports the Discovery House GC² community, a graduate residential initiative that connects students across disciplines to explore grand societal challenges while building community, expanding mentorship networks, and engaging in career‑focused programming. As part of the Graduate School Success Team, he collaborates with colleagues to implement initiatives that strengthen the graduate student experience.

Pedro holds a B.A. in Psychology and a MPS in Industrial‑Organizational Psychology from UMBC. His background includes extensive experience in workforce development, program management, and learner support across government, higher education and training environments.
