This is a great opportunity to become equipped with essential financial literacy skills that will serve you well in both your academic and professional journeys. 1:1 Career Advising
Please see the details about 1:1 career advising below, and please be sure to follow instructions for different types of appointments. We encourage you to plan early and schedule a conversation 2-3 weeks in advance. During certain times of the year (such as early fall or spring), finding available appointments in the same week can be challenging.
Society of Fellows
The Graduate School's Society of Fellows is a talented group of diverse students at UMD who hold recruitment awards such as the Flagship Fellowship, President's Fellowship, McNair Doctoral Fellowship, GEM Fellowship, and SREB Doctoral Scholar Award. Throughout the course of the semester, the Graduate School holds events such as information sessions, coffees, and receptions. These gatherings help to keep everyone connected, encourage collaboration, and build networks.
