Tax Preparation Assistance Program for Graduate Students Opens March 28
The Graduate School again will provide in-person income-tax preparation, formerly the Tax Assistance Program (TAP) services for graduate students at the University of Maryland, College Park. In-person income-tax preparation assistance will be provided to graduate students between the end of March to mid-April in Room #5101F McKeldin (this is the Graduate Student Lounge on the 5th floor). In-person income-tax preparation assistance through TPAP is meant to help guide students through Glacier Tax Prep:

The Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that works side-by-side with policymakers such as state legislators and education agency officials as they implement policies to help students achieve more, prepare students for college and careers, and boost college completion.
Teaching and Learning
The Graduate School’s Office of Teaching and Learning sponsors workshops and programs to assist faculty in teaching graduate students and to train graduate students to teach undergraduate students.
The academic enterprise relies on a cadre of well-trained teaching assistants. These assistantships are an integral part of graduate student training and professional development.
