The Graduate School will host monthly wellness course series. Each month will feature a topic which include two sessions. Food will be provided at each session.

Making Fridays & Finding Community: Session One

The Wellness Course: Creating Community will be a two session wellness course which will focus on creating meaningful connections and friendships while in graduate school. Students will learn about the impact of isolation and loneliness, best approaches to meeting new people as well as overcoming challenges related to establishing community. Lunch will be provided.

Improving Executive Functioning Skills: Session One

This second wellness course series of the spring term will focus on addressing executive dysfunction. This goes beyond time management and considers factors related to procrastination, anxiety and depression. Lunch will be provided.

The final Wellness Course for the Spring Semester will focus on difficult dialogues. The sessions will focus on how to have challenging conversations with advisors, PIs, cohorts, peers, potential employers while remaining calm and collected. Lunch will be provided.
