Filing federal and state taxes is confusing for everyone, including graduate students. To help you through this process, in February 2025, Professor Samuel Handwerger of UMD's Smith School of Business and TerpTax advisor, partnered with Graduate Student Legal Aid, the Graduate School, and International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) to host one tax workshop geared towards international students.
