Engage, Thrive, and Connect

Creating a strong support network will help you thrive in graduate school. Acquiring intercultural fluency and engaging with diverse communities is a first step, but then you’ll want to also incorporate healthy habits and balance in all facets of your life--intellectual, financial, health, environmental, spiritual, emotional, physical, and social.

Examples of how to meet this pathway:

  • Build a network of fellow graduate students both inside and outside your program.
  • Develop and implement time management strategies that incorporate adequate rest, exercise, and leisure time, as well as responsibilities for school and work.
  • Participate in the Seen@Work Research Competition
