Teaching and Learning

The Graduate School’s Office of Teaching and Learning sponsors workshops and programs to assist faculty in teaching graduate students and to train graduate students to teach undergraduate students.

The academic enterprise relies on a cadre of well-trained teaching assistants. These assistantships are an integral part of graduate student training and professional development.

Given the varying roles of teaching assistants and the varying pedagogical protocols of different disciplines, this training must be multi-faceted, highly flexible, and robust at the campus, college, and department levels.

The Graduate School partners with the Teaching and Learning Transformation Center (TLTC) and the University Libraries to sponsor training and mentoring programs.
