Writing Resources for Faculty

The Office of Writing Initiatives supports the efforts of colleges, departments, and faculty to enhance the scholarly and professional writing of graduate students in a number of ways.

Faculty may consult or direct students to the range of resources available about writing generally and writing in the disciplines.

Faculty may also request workshops on various areas of writing for individual courses, programs, or departments. Please contact Dr. Linda Macri to make arrangements.

For Academic Year 2015-2016, the Graduate School will offer a small group of Maryland faculty an opportunity to develop resources and workshops for supporting graduate writing in departments. Participants will receive a $3,000 research award. Click here for more information about this opportunity.
