Learning Outcomes

Students who participate in programs at The Graduate School Center for Writing & Oral Communication will:

  1. Demonstrate increased ability to compose and revise their own writing.
  2. Show awareness of effective style choices for particular audiences.
  3. Increase their confidence and skill when generating, expressing, and organizing ideas.
  4. Understand and correctly apply syntactical and grammatical concepts.
  5. Value The Graduate School Center for Writing & Oral Communication as a resource that will support graduate students as they become proficient in all areas of scholarly writing.
